How the EZ Call mobile application accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use it — and the device permissions it requests, and why.
Canaan One, LLC (“Canaan One,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides the EZ Call mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how EZ Call accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the application. EZ Call’s Android package name is com.ezcall.onetoone.
EZ Call is a calling application that lets you set up a profile and place calls to your contacts. This policy explains how the App handles your information. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
When you create or use an EZ Call account, we may collect:
EZ Call uses Firebase Authentication for phone-number verification. Phone numbers provided for authentication are sent to and stored by Google for authentication, security, and abuse-prevention purposes.
EZ Call may store names and telephone numbers that you choose to add or select as contacts, including priority contacts. EZ Call does not upload your entire device address book unless you explicitly use a feature that requires and clearly requests such access.
To deliver calling functionality, we may process:
EZ Call accesses your microphone and camera only after receiving device permission and when required for calling features. Live audio and video are transmitted to call participants using encrypted WebRTC connections. Canaan One does not record or permanently store the audio or video content of calls. Network relay services may temporarily process encrypted call traffic when a direct connection between participants is unavailable.
We and our service providers may process:
If you contact us, we may collect your email address, telephone number, message content, and other information you choose to provide.
Depending on the features you use, EZ Call may request permission to access:

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information. These measures include encrypted transmission using HTTPS/TLS, encrypted WebRTC connections for calls, authentication controls, access restrictions, and security rules for cloud-stored data. Firebase services encrypt data in transit, and supported Firebase services also encrypt data at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide EZ Call, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Generally:
Following a verified account-deletion request, we delete associated active account data within 30 days. Residual copies may remain in protected backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten or deleted. We may retain limited information longer where required by law, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution obligations.
